| Many
organisations require large injections of income from time to time. This
money can come from a Capital Campaign. However, before an organisation
commences a Capital Campaign it needs to determine whether there is sufficient
community support for the organisation itself and the proposed project in
particular. A Feasibility Study will assist in this process because it questions,
measures, qualifies, verifies and listens to honest answers to hard questions.
Most importantly it helps identify potential key volunteer leaders and potential
key contributors.
The first question that needs to be considered when planning a Feasibility Study is, "Who should conduct the Feasibility Study?" A Feasibility Study can be done by either in-house staff or a consultant or both. To determine which to use the following issues must be addressed: |
