Evelyn Mason was engaged to conduct a major appraisal of Catholic Mission's fundraising programs. The recommendations will be used to assist Catholic Mission with the implementation of our current Strategic Plan over the next 5 years. Throughout the appraisal process we found Evelyn Mason and Associates to be:

WIRES partnership with Evelyn Mason & Associates commenced in March 2007 when Evelyn began assisting us in the development of a Bequest Program. We have since established and maintained a close and productive relationship with Evelyn, who has supported WIRES with advice and assistance on a wide range of fundraising issues from staff employment to direct mail appeals. The Bequest Program has shown astonishing growth under her guidance and won both state and national FIA Awards of Excellence in 2007/08. Evelyn Mason and Associates carried out an appraisal of the fundraising programme for the conservation of St Mary’s Cathedral some years ago.

Evelyn put in place strategies to rebuild and increase the Cathedral’s donor database.  She established an ongoing fundraising programme incorporating our existing one, along with the use of the Cathedral newsletter. Her tasks have included donor asks, acquisition and renewal. Her advice and expertise ensured that St Mary’s won the FIA Award of Excellence in the Budget Renewal Division in 2008.

Evelyn continues to work closely with us in the preparation and coordination of our fundraising mailouts and acquisition activities.  Evelyn clearly understands the significance of the nature of a Church organisation, and has given this due consideration.
